MEET PANAMA RESIDENCY CONCIERGE
Understand the opportunity, the process, and the questions to ask before you decide.
You've worked hard to build more freedom. Now you're exploring Panama: a place to move, or a second home base. Before tying up capital or committing to a residency route, find out what fits your situation. Introducing Panama Residency Concierge, by Grey River Associates.
Residency, your tax position, and the practical details of life in Panama are three separate decisions. Getting one right doesn't automatically solve the others. We help you bring them together, so your next step follows a plan that makes sense for you.
We begin with an eligibility assessment. For qualifying applicants, an employment-based Friendly Nations route may provide an option without purchasing property. That route has its own requirements. We help assess whether it fits you before you commit to moving forward.
From document coordination to immigration appointment support and translations, you get hands-on help with the steps ahead. We can also assist with bank applications, subject to each bank's approval. The value is straightforward: fewer loose ends to manage alone, and a clearer view of what comes next.
If you're planning to leave Canada, we can also help with departure planning, including support with form N R seventy-three when appropriate for your situation. That form requests a Canada Revenue Agency opinion. Submitting it does not automatically establish non-resident status. Your actual circumstances and residential ties matter.
Once your complete documents are received, our target for a preliminary review is three to five business days. That's a target for the initial review, not a government approval deadline. You'll understand the proposed next steps before progressing through the process.
The starting deposit is two thousand U S dollars, credited toward the twelve thousand nine hundred U S dollar package. You'll receive written terms so you can review the scope and understand your commitment before proceeding.
If you're found ineligible, eighteen hundred U S dollars is refunded and two hundred U S dollars is retained as an administration fee, subject to the written terms. No promises of automatic residency or tax-free living. Just a structured way to understand your options and move forward with greater confidence.
Whether you're moving to Panama or establishing a second home base, your next chapter deserves more than guesswork. Check your eligibility with Grey River Associates. Start with a clear plan.

IF YOU’RE PLANNING TO LEAVE CANADA
Your home, family, business, and financial ties all matter. If a full departure is your goal, your plan should reflect your actual life.
Grey River Associates can help coordinate your Canadian departure, including support with Form NR73 where appropriate for your unique situation.
Let’s look at my situationForm NR73 asks the CRA for an opinion on your residency status. Filing it is not, by itself, what makes you a non-resident.

LET’S MAKE IT CLEAR
You don’t need every answer today. You do need a clear next step.
Yes—the planning conversation can start with a second base rather than a permanent move. We assess the residency route and requirements against your plans. Your Canadian tax status is a separate question; a Panama residence permit does not, by itself, change it.
Possibly. The Friendly Nations program includes an employment-based route for eligible applicants. It requires qualifying employment documentation and a work-permit application. It is not an automatic exemption: we review your circumstances before recommending it.
The Friendly Nations route generally starts with a two-year provisional permit, followed by an application for permanent residency. Other routes have different requirements. We’ll explain the route, costs, and expected steps that apply to you.
No automatic result follows from moving or holding a residency card. Your Canadian ties, income sources, business structure, and Panama tax-residency position all matter. Departure tax and ongoing Canadian-source tax obligations may also need attention.
Not everyone needs to request a CRA residency opinion. We can help you understand whether NR73 is appropriate, organize the relevant information, and coordinate with your tax advisers. It is not a substitute for a complete departure plan.
It is the target for the preliminary eligibility review once the deposit and complete documents are received. It is not a promise of visa approval, work-permit approval, a bank account, or a final government decision within that period.
Under the eligibility-review offer, $1,800 of the $2,000 deposit is refunded if you are found ineligible for the proposed route; $200 is retained for administration. Review the written deposit terms before paying. Where relevant, we can discuss alternative residency routes.
Think about whether you want to relocate or establish a second base, how you earn your income, your timeline, and the Canadian ties you expect to retain. You do not need to send a passport or pay a deposit to book the initial conversation.
